The EU Commission has agreed it will decide whether Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova could be granted membership of the bloc by either June 8 or June 15.
Reporting on the news, Europe Editor for Radio Free Europe, Rikard Jozwiak said: “A potential candidate status for Ukraine is currently more likely and acceptable to some EU member states, putting the country in the same basket as Bosnia and Kosovo.”
