Boy, 5, tragically killed in horror car crash as police shut down street

A boy aged five has died after a tragic road traffic collision in the West Midlands.

West Bromwich Road has cordoned off by police after the incident.

The sad news comes after an emergency service incident this morning, July 17. A blue and white police cordon could be seen in the street, where it meets The Broadway, until around 4.30pm.

Family friends at the scene confirmed the devastating news, adding: “The little one has died.” A spokesperson for West Midlands Police has been contacted for a comment.
