Cat plays noughts and crosses with owner then flips out when he loses

A cat owner and her genius feline have been filmed playing a good old fashioned game of noughts and crosses – but her pet was less than impressed when he lost.

The viral video begins with owner Iqra drawing the table on a piece of paper as her cat watches over it.

Iqra then kicks things off by choosing the bottom right-hand square to place her cross.

Her pet appears to suggest he wants his circle drawn on the bottom left square, by nosing it.

After taking her own turn, the cat then seems to pick another square.

But it gifts Iqra the victory as she’s able to connect all her crosses.

In a comical ending, she flicks the bird at her cat who decides to attack her hand out of anger.

Unsurprisingly, the video has become hugely popular after it was posted to TikTok before being shared to Twitter.

Iqra simply captioned the clip, seen more than 8million times, with: “How’s self-quarantine going?”

One viewer joked: “She said ‘you cheating …. Imma bite yo hand off’.”

“Why is flipping off a cat so hilarious?” another questioned. “I can’t stop laughing.”

And a third commented: “This is so adorable.”

The video is just the latest in a number of adorable snaps of pets to shoot into superstardom online in recent weeks.

Daily Star Online recently revealed footage appearing to show a dog mocking his corgi friend’s short legs.

Another video recently surfaced of a cat lover’s futile attempt at getting her kittens to pose for the camera.

And Reddit viewers were left creasing after cats were filmed gagging exactly like humans.
