High temperatures for Denver and parts of the Front Range could reach into the high 90s today, according to the National Weather Service.
The forecast high for Denver is 99, and Fort Collins and parts of the Eastern Plains could see temperatures in the 100s.
It will be mostly sunny in the morning with clouds increasing by mid-afternoon. There is a chance of isolated thunderstorms that could bring gusty winds but not much rain.
Fire danger continues to be higher than normal given the high temperatures and dry conditions.
The Foothills will see temperatures in the 80s, while the mountains will see temperatures in the high 70s to low 80s.
