Denverites won’t be enjoying a white Christmas this year, but Friday’s temperatures should at least make way for some outdoor, socially distanced activities in a year unlike any other.
The day calls for sunny skies with a high of 60 degrees and a low of around 27 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The weather is expected to dip slightly on Saturday and more on Sunday.
The next chance of snow is forecast for Sunday night in Denver. The high country is expected to received snow Saturday night into Sunday, with the snow and windy conditions likely to make travel difficult in the mountains, according to the weather service.

The dry weather and what the National Weather Service has called unreasonably warm temperatures will hit north central and northeaster Colorado on Christmas, with a high temperature in the plans around 15 degrees higher than normal.
