The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are reportedly not happy that their two young children are not being given HRH status from King Charles – despite being made a Prince and Princess.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were officially given new titles once King Charles III – their grandpa – was made King.
Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet ‘Lili’ Mountbatten-Windsor got the upgrade thanks to a rule made by King George V more than 100 years ago.

At the time, he decreed: “The grandchildren of the sons of any such Sovereign in the direct male line – save only the eldest living son of the eldest son of the Prince of Wales – shall have and enjoy in all occasions the style and title enjoyed by the children of Dukes of these Our Realms.”
But despite this, a royal source said that this has not gone down well with the Sussexes.
Speaking to The Sun, the source said: “Harry and Meghan were worried about the security issue and being prince and princess brings them the right to have certain levels of royal security.
“There have been a lot of talks over the past week.
“They have been insistent that Archie and Lilibet are prince and princess.
"They have been relentless since the Queen died.

“But they have been left furious that Archie and Lilibet cannot take the title HRH.
"That is the agreement — they can be prince and princess but not HRH because they are not working royals.”
Her Majesty The Queen died last week (September 8), which saw the two children automatically made Prince and Princess due to the almost instant change in head of state when the previous one dies.
The Daily Star has reached out to both Meghan and Harry's team, and the King's spokesman for a comment on the matter.
