Over 450 flights into or out of Denver International Airport have been canceled after an overnight winter storm dropped nearly four inches of snow at the airport and saw the temperature at the airport dip to -24 degrees.
Another 157 flights have been delayed.
Southwest Airlines took the brunt of the cancellations, with 249 of their flights initially canceled and an additional 78 delayed. About 9:15 a.m., another 102 Southwest flights were canceled. In total, 65% of their flights have been canceled.
Among other airlines, 50 SkyWest flights, 36 United flights, 14 Frontier flights, 4 American Airlines flights and one flight each from Air Canada, CommutAir and Alaska Airlines have been canceled.
Phoenix, Dallas and Chicago had the most arriving flights canceled with seven each, and seven flights each were canceled to Phoenix, Chicago and St. Louis.
