A man’s skin reportedly "melted off" after his girlfriend was said by police to have doused him in petrol and set him on fire.
With around just 40p-worth of fuel, Breana Johnson, 24, allegedly killed her boyfriend Ricky Doyle, 25, at a Shell pumping station in Texas.
Mr Doyle sustained his burns on July 18, however, passed away in hospital on Tuesday from the injuries he sustained in the incident, Arlington Police Department said.

According to a police document, the two had been arguing with Johnson heard saying “I’m going to kill you”.
Johnson was seen going into the petrol station and buying $0.50 (40p) worth of fuel before she was said to pour it on Mr Doyle, who was sitting in the backseat of a Jeep.
Using an unknown object, she allegedly then went to the front of the car and set it on fire.
Doyle was then seen getting free of the car and trying to put the flames out as he ran through the car park.
He was “bleeding and had skin that appeared to have melted off his body,” by the time a customer reached him with a fire extinguisher, a police document said.

Johnson told people that she had been smoking while she pumped gas into the car, ultimately leading to her boyfriend going up in flames.
Witnesses didn’t buy into her story though, the New York Post reported, and confronted the woman.
They told her that she started the fire intentionally, with one even going as far as trying to forcibly keep her there while they waited for law enforcement to show up.
The police report said that Johnson pushed the person over and, smiling, drove off.
Following her arrest in July she was charged with aggravated assault-bodily injury with a deadly weapon. This has now been upgraded to murder following the death of Doyle.
Johnson is currently being kept at Tarrant County Jail.
