Unfortunately, a spokesperson stated that the company doesn’t comment on speculation regarding future products.<\/p>\n Rumors of an electrified production Mustang coupe, either as a hybrid or a full-on EV, are nothing new. Furthermore, Ford already has multiple battery-electric prototypes in its stable. Lest we forget the Mustang Super Cobra Jet 1800 that debuted earlier this year, built as a dedicated drag racing machine with 1,800 horsepower turning the rear wheels. It’s an upgrade to the Cobra Jet 1400 from 2020, and jumping way back to 2019, we have the Mustang Lithium EV that debuted at SEMA.
