New weather maps show a fierce Atlantic blast storming towards the UK – with large parts of the country to be hit with brutal weather within hours.<\/p>\n
Forecasters predict that furious winds complete with heavy rain will smash Britain into by 6am on Friday morning, as a huge area of low-pressure swoops in from the Atlantic Ocean.<\/p>\n
The storm will hit the hardest in the Midlands, according to maps seen by Express.co.uk produced by the forecaster WX Charts.<\/p>\n
It will cover a 250-mile distance from roughly Manchester down to the South Coast, and will also cover almost the entirety of the East Midlands, East Anglia, and the south east of England including Kent and Essex.<\/p>\n
According to current predictions, Wales, Scotland, and the south west of England will avoid most of the chaos.<\/p>\n

More info<\/p>\n The Met Office forecast for tomorrow predicts it will be mostly sunny for the northern half of the UK tomorrow, with showers in the far northwest before the storm hits later on Thursday evening, and into the early hours of Friday morning.<\/p>\n It will be somewhat of a north-south divide, however, as southern parts of Britain will experience warm and cloudy spells, with outbreaks of rain, becoming heavy through the evening.<\/p>\n Looking ahead to the rest of the week, experts say it will be unsettled on Friday with heavy rain and strong winds.<\/p>\n A spokesperson for the Met Office added: “The weather will become drier and brighter into Saturday and Sunday, though with showers for some.
