    A Halloween horror mix of floods, snow and storms is set to freak out revellers.<\/p>\n

    A weekend washout is hitting trick or treaters, with heavy \u00addownpours causing more floods in the North and South. Waves of up to 20ft are also due on South West coasts today.<\/p>\n

    And snow will follow just a day after British Summer Time ended this morning (Sunday, October 29). Mountain Weather Information Service said: \u201cUpland snowfalls are forecast in Scotland with a lowering of temperatures, leaving the Munro hills sub-zero for \u00adseveral days.\u201d <\/p>\n

    A 400-mile-wide -1C easterly chill from Norway arrives in northern England and Scotland tomorrow (Monday, October 30). And a 60mph storm is set to bring more gales and washouts on Wednesday and Thursday, with the South most at risk.<\/p>\n

    A Met Office forecaster said: \u201cFurther showers, rain and strong winds are forecast for most until Tuesday. Then very unsettled or stormy conditions are likely nationwide, with heavy rainfall and strong winds.\u201d<\/p>\n
