Get the biggest stories and wackiest takes from the Daily Star, including our special WTF Wednesday email<\/p>\n<p>We have more newsletters<\/p>\n<p>The UK&apos;s weather-related pain is set to continue as the Met Office has revealed when the next mega storm is set to hit.<\/p>\n<p>Just a week or so out from deadly Storm Babet, Storm Ciaran is coming our way, and will batter the country with heavy rain and thundery showers. Nearly four inches of rain could fall in the worst-affected areas, causing travel chaos and flooding similar to that seen during Storm Babet earlier this month.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.dailystar.co.uk\/incoming\/article31309765.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s615b\/0_Image.jpg\"><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<figure data-mod=\"image\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/i2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/incoming\/article31272462.ece\/ALTERNATES\/s458\/0_weather_main.jpg\"><\/figure>\n<p> Met Office issues verdict on &apos;polar&apos; cold snap after Storm Babet as -6C chill set to hit UK<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/s2-prod.mirror.co.uk\/@trinitymirrordigital\/chameleon-branding\/publications\/dailystar\/img\/logo-schema-dailystar.png\"><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In addition to the Met Office&apos;s weather warnings some 101 flood alerts have also been issued across the country, meaning flooding is possible, while 41 flood warnings \u2013 meaning flooding is expected \u2013 are in place.<\/p>\n<p>Storm Babet, which came to an end last weekend after days of chaos, left a trail of destruction in its wake with many parts of the UK flooded.
