Thieves have stolen a gaggle of Turkeys from a UK farm in the dead of night.<\/p>\n

The rustlers managed to nab around 70 birds from the farm in Dorset. The overnight heist is believed to have occurred during the early hours of Monday (November 27).<\/p>\n

The farm also lost some of its machinery during the riad. And just weeks before Christmas, the theft could have devastating effects on the business \u2013 and your Christmas dinner. Dorset Police say the burglary took place at a farm in the Dottery area, near Bridport, at around 1.30 am on Monday. They are investigating the incident, as reported by DorsetLive.<\/p>\n

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the offence to come forward. Additionally, anyone who has been offered live or butchered turkey in suspicious circumstances should contact the force.<\/p>\n

Police Constable James McClements, of West Dorset police, said: "This burglary has had a significant impact on the victim's business, and we are carrying out a number of enquiries to identify those involved.<\/p>\n
