The UK might seem more expensive than ever but it\u2019s not home to the world\u2019s priciest city, according to a new study from the Economist Intelligence Unit.<\/p>\n

In its Worldwide Cost of Living Index, the team looked at prices and inflation in cities around the globe to find the world\u2019s most expensive.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s index found that prices had risen by an average of 7.4 percent year on year in local currency terms for over 200 common goods and services.<\/p>\n

Although that\u2019s lower than last year\u2019s record 8.1 percent increase, it\u2019s still significantly higher than scores between 2017 and 2021.<\/p>\n
