Bigfoot can travel through time at will and can disappear whenever it likes because it is an "interdimensional creature", an expert has alleged.

Multiple alleged sightings of the elusive creature across the forests of the United States were seemingly explained away by the alleged time travelling abilities of the Sasquatch.

A documentary attempting to expose the paranormal beast from Paul Beban saw Stan Gordon, a paranormal investigator, allege Bigfoot could be "something far beyond our scientific understanding".

Mr Gordon also believed it could be an "interdimensional" creature zipping in and out of space and time as he and his team are usually on the scene of a sighting within a few hours.

He said: "In some cases, we will see a series of large footprints but as we follow the tracks they suddenly stop, vanish and disappear. We've heard these stories of people who have seen these creatures and in some cases they just vanish.

"They would say 'this thing appears suddenly in front of us, walks in front of our vehicle; we see it from head to toe and suddenly it's gone.' It's a very, very weird phenomenon. We're dealing with something that's much stranger than a flesh and blood unknown-type animal.

"The data I am seeing now indicates we're dealing with something with a physical and non-physical component to it. For lack of a better term, I call it interdimensional."

Further investigations from Mr Beban saw "something strange" going on in the US, with Ohio pinpointed in the documentary. His efforts led to a Freedom of Information Act request

The request led to the revelation of a huge amount of "evidence" suggesting the existence of Bigfoot. The Daily Star previously reported the findings made by Andre Maquera, who found strange animal noises coming from a specified source point.

Though they picked up grumblings and groans from the point of interest, they were unable to identify the sound though said it was closest to "that of a gorilla".
