Bozo Johnson’s Cabinet was full of “useless f***pigs”, “morons” and “c***s”, according to the man who worked closest to them.

Dominic “Knobo” Cummings, Bozo’s former chief advisor, sensationally poured scorn over his former boss at the UK Covid-19 Inquiry has heard.

The ex-aide told the inquiry his expletive-laden views towards the Covid cabinet ministers in WhatsApp and email messages were widespread.

He described the Cabinet Office as a “bomb site” and a “dumpster fire” where many people were in the wrong job.

And he called it “pretty insane” that many senior Government officials – including Bozo himself – went on holiday in the February 2020 half term as the crisis hit the planet.

But he said it would have been “highly counterproductive” to ask the PM to return home early, because he thought he was inept.

Challenged about his foul-mouthed messages by inquiry lawyer Hugo Keith KC, he said: “I think it reflected a widespread view of the calibre of people that were dealing with this crisis.

“My appalling language is my own, but my judgement of senior people was widespread.”

Knobo also recalled how conversations such as storing “massive numbers of bodies” in ice rinks “exploded” in the week beginning March 9, 2020, when quizzed about herd immunity.

“By the 11th my view was, I’ve got an appalling feeling that I’m in one of those historic catastrophes, like July 1914,” he told the inquiry.

And he warned Bozo in a WhatsApp message on March 12 2020 of the NHS imploding “like a zombie apocalypse film”.

Knobo claimed that Bozo was called an indecisive “trolley” by “pretty much everyone” as he hit out at a “dysfunctional” system during the pandemic.

Calling for a reshuffle, Knobo told Bozo in a WhatsApp message in August 2020 that “the bubble thinks you’ve taken your eye off ball”.

He said “you’re happy to have useless f***pigs in charge” and that the vast amount of chaotic front page news was coming from his “feral” Cabinet.

And he warned Bozo that he will “lose good people” who do not want to be part of something that “looks like mayhem”.

Knobo reserved specific criticism for Matt ‘Coco’ Hancock, adding: “I also must stress I think leaving Hancock in post is a big mistake. He is a proven liar who nobody believes and we face going into autumn crisis with the c*** in charge of NHS still.”

Meanwhile Knobo admitted his controversial lockdown breach to Barnard Castle was an “absolute car crash” and “did cause a lot of people pain”.

However he refused to concede he was wrong to take the trip, adding: “In terms of my actual actions in going north and then coming back down I acted entirely reasonably and legally and did not break any rules.”

The inquiry also heard that Bozo Johnson defended Knobo’s trip, despite knowing he had lied about it.

Messages from the ex-PM said: “He later claimed that he had told me but that my brain was so fogged by Covid that I didn’t register.

“It’s not true, I would have noted it. He never told me. I then tried my very best to defend him.”

    The Daily Star says….

Dominic ‘Knobo’ Cummings really does have a brass neck. He’ll forever be a laughing stock because of his Barnard Castle escapade.

No one will forget his pitiful excuse for why he had to make that trip, claiming it was to check his eyesight.

Yet he’s got the nerve to claim it was everyone else that was a moron.

The Covid Inquiry heard that’s how referred to ministers, along with various expletives.

Many will of course agree with him.

And he’s merely confirming what we all knew – that the Government was run by clowns. But he’s hardly one to talk, given his own actions.

This is a man who, at the height of the pandemic, massively undermined public confidence in those we most needed to trust.

He was just another idiot in the circus. Someone really ought to warn him about throwing stones in a glass house.
