Beleaguered low-cost high street store Wilko is set to close 52 stores as part of an attempt to save the business.
The administrators who are attempting to find a buyer have announced that 24 shops will close on September 12, while another 28 will be shuttered just two days later.
The company has 400 branches in total, with B&M agreeing to spend £13million on buying just 51 sites.

However, the company has not confirmed the fate of any of the 1,332 staff members employed by the company.
They have, however, confirmed 299 roles are being cancelled across two warehouses in Worksop and Newark, with another 17 redundancies taking place at its support centre.
Edward Williams, joint administrator, said: “In the absence of viable offers for the whole business, very sadly store closures and redundancies of team members from those stores are now necessary.
“The loss of these stores will be felt not only by the team members who served them with such dedication, including through the uncertainty of recent weeks, but also the communities which they have been a part of.”
