Hikers left terrified by mysterious naked Wolf Man spotted in mountains

Germany: Armed police respond to shooting at Mercedes plant

A mysterious naked ‘Wolf Man’ creature was reportedly spotted by hikers in the mountains, who “wouldn’t take its eyes” off passersby.

Terrifying footage of the creature, who local officials say has lived in the wild for five years, was captured by a group of witnesses traveling through the Harz Mountains, in Blankenburg, Germany.

Gina Weiss and her friend Tobi came across the disheveled figure while out in the mountains, around 150 miles from the German capital of Berlin.

Speaking to the native newspaper Bild, the 31-year-old described how they spotted the figure sitting on a rock while appearing to hold a spear.

She noted the creature “wouldn’t take his eyes (off) us”, as she recounted her 10-minute experience with the Wolf Man.

Ms Weiss said: “When we reached the sand caves we saw the wolf man. He stood up high on one of the caves and held a long wooden stick like a lance in his arm.”

It was predicted the man was in his forties and looked as if he came from the prehistoric era.

She added: “He wouldn’t take his eyes off us, said nothing. He looked dirty like a Stone Age man from a history book.”

According to The Times, Blakenburg cops have received a number of reports in the past half-a-decade relating to the man, who reports say is draped in “wolf fur or in a wolf costume”.

Back in March, cops were told of a distressed hiker who saw a “wolf man” running around the woods.

But when emergency responders arrived the Wolf Man was nowhere to be seen.

The fire brigade also reported seeing a similar figure roam the forest, but again the creature evaded the authorities.

Alexander Beck, head of Blankenberg fire brigade, said “someone clearly knows how to live outside and adapt to the changing seasons”.

The Harz Mountains, in northern Germany, stretch across 68 miles of terrain, and into the states of Sachsen-Anhalt and Niedersachsen.

It is known as a mazing landscape, full of thick vegetation.

As well as Wolf Man, other eerie legends exist from within the forest include many ingrained in witchcraft folklore.
