NYPD chiefs ordered that McGarry be transferred from the 44th Precinct to the Transit Bureau after the footage made the rounds online, earning Vera an unexpected moment in the spotlight.

The bombshell cop, 28, also found fame online following the incident and regularly posts snippets of her life.

In her latest post, she shared a video of a car with the words “my car has heard my stories . . . the gas pedal felt my paint the most and the exhaust screamed when I couldn't anymore”.

She then took to her Instagram stories to post a short clip of herself by a pool wearing a very small red bikini.

Last year when the video of her went viral, she spoke out about how she was treated differently because of her looks and sex.

She told TMZ: “I feel like just because, mainly, I’m a female, dressed the way I was, being a rookie, things were different.

“Had it been a man doing it, I feel like it would have been more of a joking matter and it would have stayed in-house versus go public the way it did with me.”
