One person was shot while driving in the area near South Sourdough Drive on U.S. 285 today during a road rage incident, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies are seeking information about a white man in his 30s with dark hair, a goatee and medium build driving a silver, four-door Acura sedan with dark tinted windows last seen headed southbound on U.S. 285 near South Sourdough Drive toward Conifer.
The victim was transported to the hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
Anyone who sees the vehicle should not attempt to approach or follow it, but call 911. Anyone who witnessed the shooting can contact Jefferson County dispatch at 303-271-0211.
