Cops in Bali are investigating a video that appears to show a couple having sex in someone’s front garden.

The clip, which has gone viral, purportedly shows a foreign tourist and an Indonesian woman at it during the early hours of the morning.

The homeowners thought at first that it was someone urinating, but when they checked their CCTV footage they found that a whole lot more was going on.

“At first, my husband thought someone was urinating in front of the house,” said Ayu Purwita, according to Detik.com

But Ayu’s husband was then left stunned by what the footage showed.

“It turned out, when we checked the CCTV, they were engaging in sexual activity,” she said.

“The man was a foreigner, and the woman was Indonesian.”

It all happened on Jalan Kayu Aya, Lingkungan Banjar Taman, in Kerobokan, on a recent September 9 at about 12.45am.

It was the homeowners’ dog that first drew attention to the couple’s lewd behaviour.

When the footage was checked, it showed they had vaulted over the fence next to the gate, apparently unaware that their actions were being monitored.

“The front of the house was well-lit, the lights were on. The CCTV is always on, and the gate was locked. But they boldly jumped over the fence,” Ayu said.

When they realised they’d been rumbled, the dodgy couple fled the scene by leaping over the wall next to the front gate.

It proved to be the final straw for Ayu, who says she’s regularly had to tolerate tourists taking a leak or spewing up in front of her house.

North Kuta police chief Komang Juniawan confirmed that cops are investigating the incident, but they haven’t yet pinpointed who the perpetrators are, reports CNN Indonesia.

If they’re caught and convicted of of public indecency, they face a stiff punishment as the crime can result in nearly three years in the slammer.
