Some of TUI’s best deals in August 2023 include cheap holidays during the summer months, savings on city breaks, money off for couples and exclusive discounts for customers who book using the TUI app.

Save up to £150 on a package holiday
TUI has a number of package holidays on offer for under £400 per person, and now to make things even better, select holidays have been discounted by up to £150. As part of the deal, holidaymakers can save an extra £100 on holidays under 14 nights OR an extra £150 on holidays 14 nights and more using your unique code. Departures January – October 2024. A minimum spend and terms and conditions apply.
TUI package holidays include flights, a generous luggage allowance, accommodation and transfers to your destination from the airport.

Cheap TUI flights
TUI offers budget-friendly flights to destinations around the world, including both long- and short-haul routes. For a limited time, customers can save up to 10 percent on flights departing between May 2024 and April 2025. Plus, save 10 percent on long-haul luggage and select your seat (when bought together) by using code TAKEOFF on departures between January 2024 and April 2025.

As part of its winter offering, TUI has thousands of seats to popular winter sunshine destinations including Egypt and Cape Verde.

What is TUI’s luggage allowance?
TUI’s luggage allowance varies depending on whether you are travelling on a package holiday or flight only.
Passengers on a flight-only ticket are entitled to:
- One piece of hand luggage of up to 10kg for free. The maximum dimensions of hand luggage can be 55 x 40 x 20cm and you must be able to lift your hand luggage into the overhead storage compartments yourself
- Things like laptops, handbags and items bought at the airport must fit within the allowed hand luggage item
- Checked-in luggage can be purchased for an extra charge while booking or through the Flight Extras website if you’ve already booked
It is always cheaper to pre-purchase luggage than to do so at the airport.
Passengers travelling on a package holiday are entitled to:
- One piece of hand luggage per person, excluding infants
- The hand luggage item can weigh no more than 10kg with maximum dimensions of 55 x 40 x 20cm
- Things like laptops, handbags and items bought at the airport must fit within the allowed hand luggage item
- When flying with TUI Airways, you’re entitled to a 15kg luggage allowance Certain types of holidays come with a bigger allowance of 20kg – this is clearly shown whilst you’re booking if it applies
If you are travelling on a TUI package holiday with a partner airline you must check the hand luggage and hold baggage rules for that airline.

Where does TUI fly to in the US?
TUI has bolstered its US holiday offering with the addition of a new route to San Franciso on sale now. The airline offers daily non-stop services from London Heathrow to the Northern Californian hotspot, as well as indirect routes from Manchester, Newcastle and Birmingham.
As part of its package holiday and city break offers, TUI has 40 hotels available to book in San Francisco.
The latest US route is the eighth to join TUI’s package holiday offering in America, however, some of these holidays may be operated by partner airlines. The only other destination in the US that TUI flies directly to is Orlando.
